The world-famous Farnborough International Airshow is getting ready to take off next week, with the trade show on 11th July and public events from 15th July 2016. As part of the preparations for this huge international event, Flint has been on-site all week testing and tweaking the Ruckus Wi-Fi system deployed by DB Systems. Some of our Wi-Fi team will also be on hand to support and monitor the network throughout the event which is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors to each of the trade and public events.
The Wi-Fi service covers all four exhibition halls of the trade show and has been scaled to cater for the high data needs of a very large number of visitors.
Commercial Director, Amanda Stainer said about this year’s event “Our latest stats highlight that 2016 Farnborough International Airshow will be another fantastic show. As well as the F-35 joint fighter strike, we are expecting more aircraft to debut at Farnborough this year. In fact we have more aircraft exhibiting than in recent shows, reflecting an up-beat mood in the industry.”
